The Ivy Restaurant Group is close to signing another downtown lease for a space opposite its current restaurant for a new restaurant called Stoddards Fine Food & Ale. The Boston Business Journal reports that Stoddards should open around Sept. 1, and will have a “classic American theme” and a full bar specializing in handcrafted ales.

After our cold and miserable weekend, it’s hard to believe that patio dining is anywhere in our future. But Boston Restaurant Jobs reports that Oleana is looking for servers and bussers for its patio, which will open in May.

And while the Beacon Hill Bistro has been open for a while, it has a new Sunday dinner offering starting this week. The Sunday Market Menu will feature “a three-course prefix dinner using primarily vegetarian market driven products with the occasional farm egg or fish element” and will cost $40 per person, according to the press release.
