The BRA Comes to Boston Daily’s Turf

First they came for City Hall, which was fine because we don’t work there.

Then they came for Boston College’s expansion, and that was OK because the dead guy and the Mayor will put an end to that.

Now they’re coming for the Christian Science Plaza, and we’ve got plenty to say about that.

According to the Boston Business Journal, the city is looking for input from residents and businesses around the Plaza as the First Church of Christ, Scientist updates its master plan to “enhance the plaza for the community, increase the environmental sustainability and explore opportunities for underutilized real estate.”

Here’s some input: If you guys change the Plaza from a place for dramatic duck rescues and watching bold souls take the plunge into the reflecting pool, and install a giant wind turbine and a bunch of luxury condominiums, we’re going to have problems.
