Today is National Coffee Day

Every day is coffee day at Casa Hollands, but no matter: We’ll take any excuse to down an extra pot or two at breakfast.

To mark this joyous java occasion, 7-Eleven is giving away free medium hot coffees from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. today (Sept. 29) at participating locations. (Krispy Kreme is also giving away free coffee, but alas, the closest shop is at Mohegan Sun.)

And, ladies, you can sip with a smile: As we reported earlier this week, a study by the Harvard School for Public Health found that women who drink 2-3 cups of Joe per day were 15 percent less likely to develop depression than women who drank one cup or less per week.
