A Ferris Wheel on the Esplanade?!

Last night the Esplanade Association presented 10 ideas for the park — including maintenance and landscaping, adding a cafe by the hatch shell, turning the park into a public arts venue, adding a “fast lane” for runners and cyclists, and more. The biggest idea seems to be the consideration of a Ferris wheel by the Museum of Science à la the Eye of London … and Coney Island. [Herald]
