Sal DiMasi Could Testify Before Grand Jury Today. The U.S. Bureau of Prisons again lists DiMasi as “in transit,” which means he could arrive in Worcester today, presumably to testify before a grand jury as part of Carmen Ortiz’s investigation into the state Probation Department. The mood on Beacon Hill is tense. “His testimony could blow the lid off this place,” one legislator said in an interview with WCVB. Last night the Esplanade Association presented 10 ideas for the park — including maintenance and landscaping, adding a cafe by the hatch shell, turning the park into a public arts venue, adding a “fast lane” for runners and cyclists, and more.
