AT&T Ends All-You-Can-Eat

AT&T became the first wireless phone provider to stop offering unlimited data for all smartphone users today. Your commute on the T is about to get a lot more boring cutting out Pandora and Facebook — unless you’re willing to cough up big bucks to stream data after passing the new 3 gig per month limit. However, even after paying extra fees, Internet speed will slow down. “It was a gigantic difference,” said Matt Spaccarelli, of Simi Valley, Calif. “Downloading a video would take two or three times longer.” [Wall Street Journal]
