Watch: Mitt Romney Gets the SNL Treatment
Mitt Romney Gets the SNL Treatment Days After Michigan Win. The SNL opener this weekend was a total creepfest. From Fox News Channel’s Shepard Smith (Bill Hader) to Romney’s sons wearing matching Brooks Brothers, you might feel the urge to take a shower after watching this one. Favorite — albeit predicable — moment: When Smith asks Romney (Jason Sudeikis) how he feels about the win: “Michigan was just another case of voters taking a look at Mitt Romney and saying, ‘ehhh, I guess.’”
Jeremy Lin Meets Learning Curve, Thanks to Rajon Rondo, Celtics. With all of the hype surrounding the Lin’s return to Boston, you were almost hoping for an upset. Almost. The Celtics pulled out the win 115-111 in OT yesterday, Rondo posted another triple-double, and Knicks coach Mike D’Antoni made some post-game excuses. “He’s got a learning curve,” D’Antoni said. “There’s no way you can throw him in there the first time he’s ever done it and expect him to be perfect. He’s going to be good. It’s just a matter of going through some learning experiences.” [CBS]
By The Numbers: Scott Brown/Elizabeth Warren Campaign Donations. The AP itemizes out campaign contributions to the Brown and Warren campaigns, and this much is clear: The candidates are pulling in loads of cash from very different places. [AP]
Romney’s Biggest Challenge in Massachusetts Isn’t Super Tuesday. Gas Price Gouging in Massachusetts is Real. But it’s not all that common. But that doesn’t mean state officials aren’t willing to watchdog it, anyway. [WCVB]
