The silver lining in Mitt Romney’s return to Massachusetts earlier this week was that he was able to scratch a pesky item off his to-do list. Ever the example of practicality, Romney got the VIP treatment when he renewed his driver’s license at a RMV facility that’s “often used for athletes, celebrities, and other high-profile state residents whose presence in a Registry branch could cause a disruption.” Yes, because the last thing anyone needs when visiting the conveniently open 9-5, Monday-Friday RMV is another disruption.  [Patriot Ledger]
