The Tax Expenditure Commission, a task force of elected officials and policy makers, will ask Deval Patrick and the state legislature to reduce the number and amount of tax exemptions being offered by the state. Mark Robyn, an economist, says: “If you have a system with lots of tax deductions, people are going to waste a lot of time and effort trying to fit into those special provisions.” Mark Cuban, a billionaire, says: “Get out there and make a boatload of money.
