Will Austin Rivers Play for the Celtics?
Will Austin Rivers Play for the Celtics? Yesterday, Austin Rivers announced that he’s leaving Duke after one season to enter the NBA Draft, and Doc Rivers should avoid drafting Austin at all costs, at least according Andrew Bock over at Bleacher Report. “There are plenty of reasons not to go after the coach’s son: inexperience, size and the fact that the Celtics need a center more than a hybrid guard, so it’s really a no-brainer,” Bock writes. Fair enough. [WCVB | Bleacher Report]

What Jonathan Papelbon Really Should Have Said. Now that Papelbon is in Philly and decided to insult Boston’s baseball IQ, it’s time for us to return the favor and insult his overall IQ. If he really wanted to make a point, what Papelbon should have said is that Boston fans know baseball about as well as he commands the English language: “I wasn’t trying to offend nobody, man,” Papelbon said to the Globe. “I was just calling a spade a spade. I’ve been in the bullpen down there many a times in Boston to know this [fan] don’t have a clue what he’s talking about. …” We don’t have got no clue, either. Yeah, right. [NESN]
