Aly Raisman Seeing Bronze, Hoping for Gold
Needham’s Aly Raisman won a bronze medal in the individual balance beam competition this morning, which leaves her one more shot at winning gold. Her final performance will be in the floor exercise competition, slated for 11:23 a.m. today. Results to come. [CBS]
UPDATE, 12:28 p.m.: Raisman won the gold in the floor exercise just an hour after winning the bronze. It’s the first Olympic gold in the floor exercise for a U.S. woman. Raisman is coming home with two gold medals. Not too shabby. [ESPN]
