Watch Surveillance Footage of the Green Line Collision

The MBTA released surveillance video footage of the Green Line collision at Boylston Station Thursday. You can see what appears to be the man the Globe described as face-planting onto the platform after falling from the train door, and shortly afterward, the rest of the bewildered passengers beginning to exit.

Meanwhile, the MBTA said Friday they ruled out mechancial failure and are focusing their investigation the operator who rammed into the stopped train at the station. He was set to win an award later today for a perfect safety record, though that seems to be on hold…
