Reporter James Foley Is Still Missing in Syria, Family Says. Foley, a freelance reporter, was kidnapped by gunmen on Thanksgiving while reporting on the country’s civil war. “We want Jim to come safely home, or at least we need to speak with him to know he’s OK,” John Foley, his father, said in a statement posted to the website freejamesfoley.org on Wednesday. “Jim is an objective journalist and we appeal for the release of Jim unharmed. Judge Rejects Motion to Dismiss Case Against Alleged Zumba Prostitution Conspirator. Mark Strong Sr. is accused of conspiring with Alexis Wright, the Kennebunk, Maine, woman suspected of running a prostitution operation out of her Zumba studio. Strong was indicted on 59 misdemeanor charges of promotion of prostitution, violation of privacy, and conspiracy. His trial is set to begin on January 22.  [Portland Press Herald]
