In the aftermath of the devastating Bruins’ Game 6 loss in the Stanley Cup Finals, people in Boston quickly looked for ways to distract themselves as the Chicago Blackhawks took Lord Stanley at TD Garden. And apparently that distraction came in the form of porn, at least according to adult website PornHub.com.

Statisticians from the site said that by 11 p.m.—mere minutes after the Blackhawks hoisted the Cup—pageviews from Boston visitors skyrocketed by 21 percent. Analysts from PornHub mapped website traffic each hour of the game to track the changes in Chicago, Boston, and across the U.S. They then compared the action going on in the two cities vying for the Stanley Cup with what others were viewing in locations across the country.

Stats also showed that during Game 6, hardly anyone from Chicago or Boston was looking at PornHub. “The battle for the Cup managed to take users away from their beloved porn once more. Until, of course, the end of the game marking the Bruins’ loss, which saw all of Boston turning to PornHub to take out some of that pent up aggression,” PornHub said in a statement after Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

But that wasn’t the case for the rest of the country, according to the company, nor was it something that Chicago fans got into—most likely because they flooded the streets to celebrate, rather than logging on to porn websites.
