‘Unicorns! Show Ponies!’ Screams Radio Announcer After Patriots’ Touchdown

Boston sports fans were a bit overstimulated by the end of Sunday night, but perhaps no one was more excited after Tom Brady’s clutch last minute touchdown pass to Kenbrell Thompkins than 98.5 Sports Hub’s color analyst Scott Zolak. There’s really nothing to do but listen to this clip of the moment Brady connects with Thompkins. Bob Socci, the play-by-play announcer, was just trying to get the improbable news out to listeners while Zolak went absolutely nuts, screaming a phrase that shall forever live on in our hearts:
“Unicorns! Show ponies! WHERE’S THE BEEF?!” It’s strange and fantastical enough to make Jack Edwards proud.
