Students Evacuated At UMass Boston Over False Report Of “Possible Person With Firearm”
As Harvard officials scoured parts of the Cambridge campus in search of alleged explosives at four separate buildings, officers at UMass Boston ordered students to evacuate a building after reports of a person with a firearm were called into the University police station.

McCormack Hall is along University Drive, facing the harbor.
Minutes after the report came through, however, State Police said the threat was bogus.

Boston Police responded to the report on campus as well. No other information was immediately available.
