Boston high school and college students now have a new reason to take a study break: The Boston Red Sox announced that for all home games this season, they will be offering standing room only tickets to high school and college students for just $9. The tickets can be purchased 48 hours before each game and a valid student ID is required for entry.

The purpose of the deal is to make Fenway accessible to its younger fans, and the Sox didn’t stop there. In addition to the offer, Boston students will have the chance to attend six “Super Student Nights” at home games in April and May. The events will cost $20 a ticket and will be sure to make Fenway fun and affordable for its next generation of fans:

April 8 – Student Toga Night

It’s a toga party at Fenway, so don your best Grecian frock for a night of fun and a chance to win Red Sox prizes throughout the game.

April 20 – Student Scavenger Hunt

Not all the details are out on this event yet, but perhaps that’s part of the mystery. If you love a good hunt, there’s no better place to be a scavenger than at Fenway.

April 29 – Night of Champions

This event will honor the three World Series Championships the Red Sox have won over the past decade. Students will be able to see the World Series Trophies and awesome Red Sox memorabilia, and get the chance to win ticket upgrades and other prizes.

May 1 – Greek Night

Frat stars and sorority sisters can show off their chapter pride at this pre-game event. You’ll get the chance to mix and mingle with other Boston fraternities and sororities, plus there will be signed memorabilia to win.

May 18 – College Media Night

Communications and journalism students, this one’s for you. You’ll get the chance to check out the day to day operations of the Red Sox Front Office Executives and Red Sox media personnel, and to hear from a soon to be announced panel of speakers.

May 29 – Class of 2014 Night

The Red Sox want to congratulate Boston’s Class of 2014, so come to Fenway for a post-graduation celebration with trivia, signed memorabilia to win, and special food deals.

And be sure to check out Fenway’s tiniest promotion: bobblehead nights. On April 7, game attendees will go home with a mini Big Papi bobblehead, and on April 30, fans will receive a little Dustin Pedroia.
