Boston magazine Takes Home Three City and Regional Magazine Association Awards

Boston magazine took three top honors at the annual City and Regional Magazine Association (CRMA) awards on Monday night:
PHOTOGRAPHY: for Cody Pickens’s photo-essay in “Home Team Workouts,” our June 2013 fitness feature.
ANCILLARY MAGAZINE: for the overall excellence of Boston Home, our bi-annual home-and-furnishings mag.
CIVIC JOURNALISM: for Rachel Slade’s “The Authority,” an in-depth evisceration of the Boston Redevelopment Authority.
Boston was also the finalist in six other categories including Commentary, Excellence in Design, and Blog Column. In truth, though, the night belonged to our sister publication, Philadelphia magazine, which took home six awards, including prizes for Reporting, Feature Writing, and “General Excellence.”
