Dame Dash, Kanye West Confirm Plans to Buy Karmaloop
While the media had their suspicions earlier this week, skilled aloof human Kanye West and producer Dame Dash are officially planning to buy the Boston-based online streetwear company Karmaloop. The brand filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy after its attempt at expansion left it in too much debt.
In a series of black-and-white Instagram videos that generally display the opposite of excitement, Dash reveals the news that they’re buying the brand together while West stands next to him, remaining unbothered and possibly unreal. Dash, the lone speaker, alludes to “a couple of other cool things” he’ll be doing with West, but none that are musical.
Rumors began to circle when Dash said in an interview that he was planning to snatch up the brand with West, and Karmaloop further planted the seed when they tweeted “Kanyeloop?”
