Meanwhile, Scott Brown Is a Bike-Fixer in New Hampshire

He's working at a bike shop because this is his life now. (Just kidding, it's a hobby.)

Former Mass. Senator and man of many trades Scott Brown is still doing things in New Hampshire, the place where he lost his last Senate race in 2014. While it’s not clear whether he will pursue another political race, he is ingloriously residing as a bike-fixer in Gus’ Bike Shop in North Hampton.

“Back in December, I came in and said, ‘Listen, I don’t need a job, I don’t need any money, but I’ve always wanted to learn how to put together and take apart bikes’,” Scott Brown told Fosters’ Daily Democrat. So longtime mechanic Dean Merrill took Brown in as his mere apprentice, where he is involved in tasks such as “routinely [taking] big cardboard bike boxes to the dump.”

“This is a ‘bucket list’ thing…I have a few more that I am looking forward to doing, then I have to get back to business,” he also said. Business meaning politics, of course, which he assures he’s still involved with. Brown still follows the 2016 presidential race fairly closely, and “has met with or spoken with nearly all of the Republican candidates, many of whom sought his advice for campaigning in the Granite State.” How humbling.
