These days, New England Patriots tight-end Rob Gronkowski travels solely by way of booze cruise. But what if he didn’t? What if he rode shotgun in your ’09 Honda Civic? Or directed you as you traipse through the jumbled streets of Boston, or wherever you may roam?

Thanks to a partnership struck between crowdsourced navigation app Waze and Dunkin’ Donuts, the folks who brought you Gronk’s duet about iced coffee with David Ortiz, your fantasies will soon be realized.

Dunkin’ Donuts announced Monday that Gronkowski will be one of the several celebrity voices available to Waze users. He’ll provide turn-by-turn directions, give warning of adverse traffic conditions, and let you know when you’re close to a Dunks. “Rob Gronkowski’s outgoing personality and humor is a perfect fit for a celebrity voice guide for Waze,” Patty Healy of Dunkin’ Brands said in a release.

We ventured to this “outside” we’ve been hearing about so much about as of late and let Gronk lead us to the nearest Dunkin’ location to our offices, down Huntington Avenue.

Touchdown indeed, Robert.

Also available in Waze: Neil Patrick Harris, Stephen Colbert, and KFC’s Colonel Sanders.
