A new list of Employees’ Choice Awards winners from Glassdoor might add a little pep in your step this week.

The job review and recruiting website determined this year’s best places to work, and three Boston-based companies made appearances in the top ten. Bain & Company, Hubspot, and Boston Consulting Group were chosen based on anonymous employee reviews of the companies.

To qualify for the Best Places to Work awards for large companies, they required an overall employee rating of at least 3.51 on Glassdoor.com, as well as an employee count of 1,000 or more. Reviewers were asked to rate how satisfied they are with their employer overall, to rate their CEO, and to consider workplace attributes like compensation and benefits, culture and values, senior management, and work-life balance.

Management consulting firm Bain & Co.—former employees include Mitt Romney and Berklee College of Music president Roger H. Brown—came in at number two, beat only by San Francisco-based home-sharing site Airbnb. Reviews touted its company culture, saying “best people, best culture, best training,” and “amazing firm, strong culture.”

Hubspot nabbed fourth place at a rating of 4.4. The Cambridge inbound marketing platform company received rave reviews in career growth across all of its divisions. And finally, at number seven is another consulting firm, Boston Consulting Group. According to Glassdoor, 97 percent of reviewers approve of its CEO, Rich Lesser.

Job hunters, now you know.
