Boston is one of the hottest real estate markets in the country right now. With building boom, a glut of luxury apartments, and a dash for the surrounding suburbs, there’s plenty happening around the Hub.

It makes sense, then, that Boston would be named the tenth best city in the U.S. for real estate agents by personal finance social network WalletHub.

To compile the ranking, WalletHub compared 150 U.S. cities using 13 metrics, including sales per agent, annual median wage for agents, median home price, home turnover rate, and the number of building permits pulled per 1,000 residents.

Denver took top honors, followed by Irvine, California, Seattle, Austin, Aurora, Colorado, Portland, Oregon, Indianapolis, San Francisco, and Colorado Springs. The worst city for real estate agents? That’d be Detroit.

Representing New England were Providence (121) and Worcester (124). No cities in Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, or Connecticut made the list.
