Fire Reported Inside BU’s College of Communication

BU has confirmed the fire was located inside a recording studio within WTBU. Three students are being treated for smoke inhalation.
An active fire has been reported inside Boston University’s College of Communication near Kenmore Square.
Boston Police and Fire have responded to the three-alarm blaze. BU has advised students to avoid the building, located at 640 Commonwealth Ave. MBTA service was

Witnesses inside the building said the fire started “near or inside” WTBU, the campus radio station on the third floor, reports the Daily Free Press, BU’s independent student newspaper. Boston Fire Department later said the fire was inside a “recording studio.”
