Spring may be in full swing, but Boston just can’t seem to shake the cold, winter weather.
While temperatures are expected to reach up to the 60s leading into the weekend, snow may be on the horizon once Sunday rolls around.
According to Boston.com’s Dave Epstein, those familiar white flakes may float back into town early on Sunday, following a cold and rainy Saturday night. The highs on Sunday are expected to be 10 degrees below average for this time of year.
Weather.com is forecasting an 80 percent chance of snow, which, thankfully, should only accumulate to about an inch. The real issue will be the cold, as temperatures may reach the upper 30s, although it will feel a lot colder thanks to wind gusts of over 50 miles per hour.
Early reports indicate that Monday and Tuesday of next week aren’t looking much better.
According to Weather.com, a mix of rain and snow will possibly hit Monday afternoon. Temperatures aren’t expected to go higher than 37 degrees.
A cold, snowy morning may be nuisance to commuters on Tuesday, although there should only be less than an inch of snowfall overall.
Enjoy the warm weather while you can this week, but don’t put away your winter gear just yet.
