What did Nantucket do to deserve this?

Both Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will attend fundraisers on the 105-square-mile island next month. Thanks goodness, they’re scheduled two weeks apart.

Trump will appear at an afternoon reception at the home of private equity whiz Ron Weinberg and his wife Terri on August 6, the Inquirer and Mirror reports. Tickets are the same price as Trump’s calamitous Boston fundraiser at the Langham Hotel, ranging from $2,700 a person to $50,000 per couple.

Clinton—hardly a stranger to Nantucket—will attend a two-hour event at the home of former U.S. Ambassador to Portugal Elizabeth Frawley Bagley on August 20, with tickets ranging between $1,000 and $27,000.

Bagley previously hosted fundraisers at her Eel Point home during Clinton’s Senate run and 2008 presidential bid, as well as last August.
