For a long time there, things were looking pretty bleak for the Patriots on Super Bowl Sunday. They couldn’t score, they gave up a fumble, and the Atlanta Falcons launched out to a huge lead. But the lowest point might have been Tom Brady throwing an interception, then making what can only be described as the world’s most feeble tackle attempt.

In his defense, the poor guy doesn’t have to tackle anyone too often (due to how he never throws interceptions), but it looked rough:

Thankfully, the Pats turned things around in the second half, but for a stretch there, it seemed like the most memorable image from the game might be Tom Brady stretched out on the ground after giving up an interception for a touchdown. Given how deeply competitive the guy is, it must have been eating him up. But with the happy ending that resulted, Brady now seems able to have a sense of humor about the whole thing, at least going by his Facebook posts. Check out what he had to say about the whole thing, below.

We all had a line face at that point, Tom.
