Lord Stanley’s in town.

With the Bruins returning to playoffs hockey after a two-year absence, the greatest trophy in sports is set to make four stops around downtown Boston. With any luck, 35-pound beauty will soon be here to stay.

Here’s where you can see the Stanley Cup today:

  • 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m.: Faneuil Hall
  • 1-2 p.m.: Union Oyster House
  • 2:15-3:30 p.m.: Black Rose
  • 3:45–5 p.m.: Boston Common

The Bruins will play their final game of the regular season against Alexander Ovechkin and the Presidents’ Trophy-winning Washington Capitals, in a 3 p.m. matinee this Saturday. The B’s clinched a playoff berth—their first since 2014, and first under new coach Bruce Cassidy—with a 4-0 rout of the Tampa Bay Lightning earlier this week.

If the playoffs started today, the Bruins would face the Ottawa Senators in the first round. The B’s fell to the Sens 2-1 in a shootout Thursday night, completing Ottawa’s regular-season sweep. Meanwhile, Claude Julien and the red-hot Montreal Canadiens would likely face the New York Rangers.

The Stanley Cup playoffs begin April 12.
