Here’s How Much Snow Is Coming to Boston This Weekend

Yes, on top of everything else going on, a coating of snow is expected across the state Friday night into Saturday morning. Per the National Weather Service, Boston residents can expect to see about two inches, while parts of Berkshire and Worcester counties may see up to four or five inches.
Friday night, most of the state will likely see rain. Western Massachusetts is predicted to see showers turn into snow as early as 8 p.m. The snow is expected to fall in the Boston area overnight between 2 a.m. and 8 a.m. Saturday morning. The biggest snow totals are expected over the higher elevation areas in the central and western parts of the state. Most of the accumulation will be on non-paved surfaces, but some road accumulation is possible in the higher elevation areas where temperatures are colder.
