The Woodward School is the only secular, all-girls prep-school on the South Shore. The school is within walking distance of the Red Line in Quincy and students come from more than 20 surrounding communities as well as from other countries. Woodward offers students the “small school advantage.” As a result of their low teacher-to-student ratio, teachers become mentors, both nurturing and empowering their students. Woodward’s Program of Studies offers a classical curriculum enhanced by innovative programs and outstanding visual and performing arts, athletics, and other extracurricular opportunities. College counseling begins in the ninth grade with students and parents mutually benefitting from the one-to-one council. Woodward students returned to school this September, attending in-class sessions four days a week with at-home learning on Wednesdays. Join a virtual open house on Wednesday mornings from 8:30–9:30am. RSVP at woodwardschool.org.
