Designer du Jour: Donna Wilson is Too Cute

We love this British designer's quirky sensibility.

Who knew the British could be so gosh-darned cute? Poufs in adorable patterns, irresistible knitted mittens, and ugly-sweet dolls made in Scotland by, I assume, Donna Wilson’s slightly wonky old aunt. All make perfect gifts for quirky friends.

Donna won Designer of the Year in 2010 from the British Design Awards. You can find most of her creatures through the Future Perfect in New York. But you can also try making some creatures on your own…or go nuts and guerrilla crochet.

It’s a non sequitur, but if you’re curious, read more about yarn bombing and other amazing street art here.
