Let’s Shop: Simplemente Blanco
Boston based designer Fernanda Bourlot celebrates her love for all things simple and white in her aptly named home store, Simplemente Bianco. Tucked away in the SoWa gallery district at 460B Harrison Avenue, her studio is “a small laboratory to express ideas, test the interest of products and learn from customers.” Gifts for eating, drinking, sleeping, and living can be custom made for a personalized finish. All products are made by hand in the United States.

Above: A garden note book ($12) is styled with a magnifying glass ($7) and reversible table runner ($28). Cow hide was brought from Argentina to create this pillow ($96). The felt hot water bottle cover ($36) is also available knitted (not shown $50). Cedar-filled shoe trees ($14) nestle in a pair of golf shoes.
Fernanda designed a collection especially for Valentines Day. We love her store installation, a blush of pink and white love notes in the shape of a heart. Delicate egg cup candles ($3.50), ‘Latigazo’ pink pillow ($38) sits behind ‘Fluffy” pillow ($35), Soap petal leaves ($8 per scoop), Assorted soaps in a box ($16)
We got a glimpse in her beautifully decorated home and identified her as Next Generation Design. She is currently expanding her garden accessory collection, redesigning her website and renovating her home in New London, all just in time for Spring!
