Tattooed Chairs: Is this a good thing?
Yeah or meh for tattoo-like upholstery from Poltrone? Time to weigh-in.
These, just seen on Trendir. Okay, I’m into the concept. I can’t explain why, but I think this upholstery approach has amazing design potential. But do I love it? Well, the fuzzy Italian paintings leave a lot to be desired, though I suspect there are a few Texan housewives saving their quarters for one of these. That aside, don’t you think using a custom laser-printing process, an enterprising designer will make a fortune on this concept? If the world were yours, what images would you wrap a chair in?
