Let's Shop: Simon Pearce

New England glass blowing and so much more.

Simon Pearce, located at 103 Newbury Street, is easily one of the best stores in Boston to fill the china cabinet. Beyond the perfectly displayed store window are two floors stocked full of hand blown glass and handmade pottery. Each Simon Pearce piece is handcrafted by their small team of master artisans and has a signature handcrafted finish. The range of tableware designs could live just as well in a classic as in a contemporary home. Vases for every type of flower, candle holders, serving platters, bowls, drinkware and dinnerware fill the wooden shelves.

Simon Pearce offers solid bird’s-eye maple cutting boards by Edward S. Wohl woodworking and design. Hang as a decorative element in the kitchen and use daily for slicing.

A selection of home decor blends beautifully with Simon Pearce signature lines.

Alyssa Froman, the delightful Store Manager, passionately shared the beauty of Simon Pearce products and pointed out many that are favored by Boston brides. “Women come in with their mothers, or future husbands, to select things (for their Bridal registry) they know they will have for a long time”. She is also soon to be married so helping other brides select their wish list would be pure pleasure. Oh, and if you break any glassware or pottery within 12 months purchased from your registry, it will be replaced – no questions asked!
