Style comes easy to Boston-based milliner Marie Galvin, whose artistic hats range from simple feather fascinators to sweeping Kentucky Derby–worthy pieces. While Galvin knows that a dramatic headpiece can pull a look together, she believes that an investment bag—like the Yves Saint Laurent calfskin tote she’s pictured with here—is an absolute must-have. “When you carry a beautiful bag, you walk differently,” says Galvin, also wearing a sleek Burberry trench and a velour fedora of her own design. “I love red,” she adds. “It’s a power color.”
