A picture perfect Victorian house on South Main Street in Wallingford, Vermont is on the market for $450,000. Built in 1856 and known as the I.B. Munson House, the former inn is listed on the National Historic Register. At 4,102 square feet and in a central location, it has eight bedrooms and seven baths.

Outside, the exterior is green wooden clapboard with contrasting trim. The home has three covered porches and a dining patio, and the .45-acre property includes an iron fence and a carriage house with three former horse stalls.

The dining room has a crystal and brass Victorian light fixture and space for a large table. The kitchen has been renovated with a new stove and double ovens, but one of the main highlights of the home is the period woodwork around windows and doorways—all richly detailed and central to the character of the interior. The home also has seven fireplaces, all with equally intricate surrounds.

High ceilings and hardwood floors are found throughout the home. Both radiators and baseboard heating are used.

Wallingford is in Rutland county near Okemo State Forest and many ski resorts.
