Every year, the design experts at the Boston Design Center come together for a celebration of the best in furnishings and interior deisgn. This year marks the Design Center’s 30th anniversary, which means an aesthetically pleasing two-day extravaganza is in store.

More than 2,500 designers, architects, decorators, students, and members of the public will gather at the Design Center on October 5th and 6th to immerse themselves in a flurry of keynote events, panel discussions, product launches, classes from the American Society of Interior Designers, and best of all, pop-up vendors.

In addition to wandering the Design Center’s halls and admiring its many showrooms and shops, visitors can stop by a new pop-up called Boston Made + Friends. Boston Made is a newly formed organization that curates an intimate market of locally made, high-quality, design-focused goods. Its pop-up market, located on the first floor of the Design Center, will offer table linens, ceramics, hand-dyed throw pillows, quilts, handmade knives, and a myriad of other lifestyle goods from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days of the Design Market.
