A funky Dutch micro-hotel will soon set up shop in the West End.

Hotel chain citizenM plans to open high-style, boutique lodgings at the Hub on Causeway, a development across from TD Garden that’s currently under construction. According to the Boston Herald, developers said last January the Hub on Causeway’s hotel component would include 260 rooms in a 10-story tower.

A similar concept to the Seaport’s Yotel, the citizenM micro-hotel will feature tiny rooms with all of the necessities: extra large king-sized beds, free wifi, and a touch-enabled “MoodPad” that allows guests to control the TV, temperature, colored lighting, blinds, and alarm clock, per the Herald. The compact accommodations are matched with 24-hour food and beverage offerings, plus spacious lobbies and trendy common areas.

The Amsterdam-based chain opened its first micro-hotel in Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport in 2008. It now has nine hotels across the globe, including one U.S. location in New York City.
