What's your background, education and training?

I worked as a CPA for Ernst & Young and Finance Controller at Accenture after graduating from Emory University. Having this analytical and statistical background has lent itself to a success real estate career. I also recently obtained my Broker license and regularly attend mastermind classes to sharpen my sales skills with Jared James, Mike Ferry and Brian Buffini.

What is your typical process for working with a new client?

I love to have an initial face to face meeting to ascertain our compatiblity. My objective with this meeting is to provide as much insight as possible to set them on the right path for making an offer on a home and explain how the buying process works. I come prepared with thorough analytics on the areas they’re looking at so they can get a feel for current market trends. It is very common for couples to be on a different page in terms of wants, needs, etc. I always reassure them that buying is a process of elimination. You have to kiss a lot of frogs to get to the princes, as they say.

What advice would you give a client looking to find a provider in your specialty?

You want to hire an agent who is extremely responsive, has a professional demeanor and takes your best interest to heart. It is important to have a great track record with many fantastic references and reviews. Another very important aspect is the reputation of the agent in the industry because often times deals are solidified based on past experiences and relationships.

What inspired your passion for your profession?

I love the two most important elements of the industry: the people and the market analytics. At my core, I truly enjoy meeting different people from different backgrounds and learning what makes them tick. I pride myself on meeting them wherever they may be in the process and adapting to any situation I’m placed in. It’s a fun, dynamic business and the real estate market is something that affects and interests many people. Almost everyone has a vested interest in how the market is doing, so it is exciting to impart my knowledge on how to best maximize the current conditions.

What services are you most excited to offer?

I enjoy walking buyers and sellers through the historical and current market trends, so they have a full understanding of where their buying or selling power stands in the current climate. I like finding ways to put my client’s best foot forward and explaining how I can get them the best deal possible. I also love the negotiation and presenting my client in the best light.

What is the best reaction you’ve ever received from a client?

The best reactions I receive are those individuals who come back to me time and time again to buy and sell, because I have proven how I can help them often outpace the market by getting a great deal on the buy side and then getting them more money than their home may be worth on the sell side. And one time someone named their dog after me!

What makes your business stand apart?

I empower my clients to make a thoughtful and well-educated decision when it comes to buying and selling with meticulous preparation and tenacity, paired with a friendly, outgoing nature. I have a great reputation in the industry as someone who is down to earth and very easy to work with, but also highly skilled.
