Dom Lange and Lindsay Coutu have worked as a team for a decade and have a combined 35-plus years in the industry. They find helping clients through these transitions and moments in life the most rewarding aspect of the job. In 2011, they opened the doors to their boutique brokerage, Broadway Village Real Estate in South Boston. They had the opportunity in 2018 to merge with Gibson Sotheby’s. Shannon Rideout has since joined their team. What is your typical process for working with a new client?

We believe wholeheartedly in a face-to-face meeting when first introducing ourselves to clients. Putting a face to a name and getting a sense of what our client is looking for, by listening, is something we truly enjoy. We will talk (very!) often from the time we start the search to when we enter the buying or selling process, so we want our clients to feel comfortable right from the beginning.

Buying, selling, or renting a property is a monumental decision and we want our clients to know we feel that way, too. Whether our client is a first time buyer, a seasoned house hunter, or an experienced investor or developer, taking the time to get to know our clients on a personal level is extremely important to us. We want our clients to know they can trust in our experience in the industry, our market knowledge, and our negotiating skills. Since we serve the neighborhood where we also live, our clients become our friends that we see around town and we love that!

We have worked as a team for a decade and have a combined 35+ years in the industry. Over the years, we’ve learned the property itself is a symbol of what is happening in peoples’ lives. Helping our clients through these transitions and moments in life is what we find so rewarding about our job.

Being readily available to our clients whether via phone, email, or text is something we pride ourselves on. We know how quickly properties can go under agreement and how important it is to watch the market in real time. For us, that means checking MLS and other websites and understanding the inventory on a daily basis. We have clients looking for a variety of properties and it is our job to match those properties to our clients.

Working as a team and living in the city, we offer our clients the highest level of customer service and first-hand knowledge of our market both personally and professionally.

From the first meeting with Lindsay and Dom, throughout the listing and showing process and the entire closing process, they were amazing. Not only did they know the area inside and out, but they listened to me and guided me the entire way. Dom Lange and Lindsay Coutu did a superb job for us during a particularly difficult time. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, open houses were prohibited and showings became much more challenging within a couple of weeks after we put our property on the market. They did a great job with the virtual representation of our condo and kept it top of mind with their contacts. We found a buyer reasonably early in the process, but the pandemic complicated a lot of steps in the buying process. Lindsay & Dom deftly navigated any obstacles we encountered to keep us on target for our close. I would recommend them without reservation to anybody looking for honest, experienced and highly skilled agents in the Boston market.

Lindsay and Dom were amazing! They literally took care of EVERYTHING, were incredibly accommodating and respectful of my busy schedule and were transparent throughout the entire process which ended up being quicker than promised. My closing took place a good week after the start of COVID shutdown and yet they were always on top of current status and proactively eased my concerns. Great experience all around and I would highly recommend.
