Elaine Dolley has loved real estate since the age of 5, when the Sunday newspaper was delivered to her home and she would circle the most beautiful properties. Moving to Boston post-college and searching for an apartment reignited the flame within her, and she soon found herself renting apartments and selling condominiums. Today, she is happy to sell a parking space or an entire building—no sale is too small. New construction or pre-construction sales are her specialty.
She has earned the trust of many developers and clients and has served as the director of sales for more than a handful of new luxury developments in downtown Boston, with more to come. “I am inspired every day by art, architecture, and my beautiful daughter,” Dolley says. “My success is predicated on my core values of honesty, loyalty, and never-ending hard work. My clients and customers know that hard work is my middle name, and I am available for them 24/7. I love real estate!”

The initial meeting with a new client or customer is critical. My question to a buyer is “ what does the perfect home look like to you “ and if you had to give up one thing what would it be aka: outdoor space, or parking etc . When meeting a seller my question is “ when do you want to move, is it ASAP or can it be 90 days from now. And What is most important to you ? Connecting with the buyer and the seller on both a professional as well as a personal level is very Important as 98% of the time my customers become lifelong Friends and repeat customers
Take the time to look both above and below your target price range . This educates you as to what the reality of the market is from a pricing standpoint. Hire or work with someone who handles Real Estate as a profession NOT someone that dabbles part time. Connect with someone that you truly connect with both personally and professionally as you will spend allot of time together .....
My inspiration began at age 5 when I began circling homes that I liked in the Sunday Newspaper. From there I would create charts comparing one to the next and rate them 1-10. I have always loved both Art and Architecture. Real Estate begins with design / architecture and ends with Location, Location,Location !
When working with a buyer or a seller myself and my team are Full Service. What I mean by this is not only do we handle referrals to attorneys, inspectors, contractors, etc BUT we have access to people who will do everything from fixing a hinge on a door to planting your garden or terrace so that it shows well. In addition, staging has become a big business with RE brokers. I have access to The Best for all budgets! The way that a home shows is critical as we only get only one first impression with a potential buyer. I ensure that all I’s are dotted and all T’s are crossed !
I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU ! I think that says it all !
My business stands apart from the many other brokers in downtown Boston in that when you reach out to discuss listing your home with ME you actually meet with ME and hire ME. Although I have a assistant, that person is behind the scenes managing deals, marketing etc. When you hire Elaine Dolley you not only communicate with me, but I do the showings. In short I am present. My showings on your home are not handled by a junior associate or team member. My personal touch is on all.
Oh dear,,,,,when asked how many years I have been in the RE business I hesitate in that I have been selling Real Estate for many many years. There was a time when I would try to exaggerate my time in the business, BUT now I am more vague as I may appear to be very very old if I stated the truth. Shall we simply say that I have been in RE for 30 ishhh years and clearly I started at age 5 !
Honesty, Loyalty and Integrity are traits that Drive Elaine. When in her presence she exudes positivity and confidence ! Her clients and customers benefit.
