Geri Farrelly got started in the real estate business when she was looking for a career change. “I am very much a people person, a good problem solver,” Farrelly says. “My main focus is paying attention to the needs of others, so it felt like real estate was the perfect fit.” Her focus in every transaction is her client. Whether buyer or seller, their needs and the needs of their family come first. She also believes in giving back to the community in which she lives. Her business is very involved in the local community on several different levels. She credits most of her success to hard work and honesty. “People want to work with people they can trust and someone who they like,” Farrelly says. “I approach every transaction as if it were a team effort between myself, my company, and my clients.”

What's your background, education and training?

I worked in the Healthcare industry for 20+ years, including direct patient care, education and management.

What is your typical process for working with a new client?

When I meet a new Client I listen to the clients needs first and for most. I then personalize their Real Estate process for them. I always start by explaining the entire process to my clients from start to finish, they receive a book explaining the process and we review the process all along the way.

What advice would you give a client looking to find a provider in your specialty?

Interview all of your prospective Realtors, do they listen to your needs, do they ask what your priority is, do they show understanding and empathy as I have come to learn that Real Estate transactions can be an extremely emotional experience and we (the Realtors) need to have patience and understanding.

What inspired your passion for your profession?

I thought I could deliver a more positive experience to people especially when they are already stressed I knew I could do a great job and also make their home buying experience a positive one.

What services are you most excited to offer?

Complete customer based services, from finding, professional trusted vendors, to rolling our sleeves up to help our clients get their properties ready for the market. I have been known to wash windows, help clean out basements and meet vendors at the customers property. Whatever decreases the stress for our clients we will do.

What is the best reaction you’ve ever received from a client?

You really are good at your job and you are refreshingly different.

What makes your business stand apart?

My company is truly customer service based, we listen to our customers, we educate our customers about the entire transaction process and have set up a "menu" of steps that we follow consistently to allow for the best customer experience start to finish.

How many years have you been in business?

I have been in the business for 15 Years.

From our initial meeting through closing the process of selling our home could not have gone smoother. Geri provided outstanding details and information on how to best prepare our home for optimal viewing, marketing the property to achieve maximum value and solutions to the issues that come up with any home sale.

When we purchased our house in 2007 Geri represented the seller. Although we were not her client at the time, she was professional, courteous and greatly helped us transition into our new community. When it was time to move, Geri was the only one we wanted to help us sell our home. After only one very successful open house, during a time not best suited for showing a property, we received multiple offers and accepted one well above asking price.
