I always encourage my prospective clients to interview multiple real estate professionals to find out who is the best fit for you. Like anything else, take a look at online reviews. I personally believe Zillow is a great source. Have confidence in the person you select. They are going to be the person that will negotiate and guide you through the transaction; they will be your voice.
People. The best part of my job is my daily interaction with people from all walks of life. I love working with buyers and sellers in what most consider to the biggest decision making process of their life.

This is a fun one! I recently sold a home for a Winchester family. I had listed the same home a few years earlier for the previous seller. The buyer at that time (current seller) had a different real estate professional working as their buyers agent. When it was time for them to move onto their next home, I was surprised to get a call to once again list this home. Being on opposite sides of the transaction the first go-round, we weren't on the friendliest of terms! When I asked the client why he had reached out to me now that it was time to sell, he responded by saying he "hated me the first time" because I was on the other team, but he knew that there was no one else he wanted on his side when it was HIS time to sell!
