About

Susie Caliendo began her career in real estate as a home staging consultant in 2008. Now, she is thrilled to be part of a great real estate team at
Waterfront Realty. “I love what I do! Every day is different and I never sit
still,” Caliendo says. “It is a perfect career choice for a high-energy person
like me.”
Her design and staging background taught her the importance of how
creating a warm, comfortable, and stylish home can help a client achieve
a timely sale at an optimal price. When working as a buyer’s agent, she
can often help a buyer see the potential in a home that may require a little
imagination. Caliendo is very proud of her testimonials. She wants every
one of her clients to be able to say she exceeded their expectations. She
feels very blessed to have a job she loves, and she brings enthusiasm to
every sale. If you are ever in need of a realtor, just remember: “Susie Sells
Houses by the Seashore!”

My home was featured on the cover of the April 2002 issue of ‘Better Homes and Gardens’ magazine, along with a ten-page article about my eclectic design style. This article opened many doors for me, and led to a career as a home staging consultant. One of my proudest achievements of my home staging career was having a home I staged in Marion, Massachusetts featured as The Wall Street Journal ‘Home of The Day.’ I was the number one individual sales agent in Duxbury in 2021. It has taken me ten years to build my business. I work full time, and often work 10–12-hour days, 7 days a week, during the peak real estate season. I do it all, from marketing to communicating with the attorneys, lenders, other agents. I attend home inspections. I do all the behind-the-scenes preparation of all my listings. I have a basement full of staging props. Everything from furniture, to rugs, artwork, lamps, books- you name it and I probably have it. I often show up to client’s homes in jeans and work boots. I roll up my sleeves and get to work. I have mowed client’s lawns, helped fill dumpsters, storage units, bring donations to Savers or Habitat for Humanity. Whatever I can do to take the stress off my clients. I always say to my clients that they will feel like I earned every penny when the closing date arrives, and they do! I consider myself to be a detail oriented entrepreneur who is driven, focused and creative. I constantly draw inspiration and ideas from my surroundings, from brownstones on Beacon Hill to bungalows by the beach. To me every home has a story that is waiting to be shared.
