New England’s biggest ice cream extravaganza returns to City Hall Plaza. Get your spoon warmed up (or cooled down) for all the ice cream, frozen yogurt, sorbet, and gelati you can eat. The proceeds go to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and there will be live music, contests, and games, as well as Fitzy Snowman Sculpting.

Allston has some seriously good restaurants and for one day only you’ll be able to sample the best of the best all in one location. The Taste of Allston will bring local eateries together for a grand tasting including Grasshopper, Cafe Bello, Sunset Grill & Tap, and more.

Father’s Day Jazz Brunch at Cafe Fleuri

Father’s Day at Fleming’s Steakhouse & Wine Bar
You can also say thank you to dad with a big juicy steak. Fleming’s Steakhouse & Wine Bar is offering a fabulous prix fixe menu of superb steaks, crisp salads, and mouth-watering desserts.

June 15, 4-9 p.m.
Father’s Day at Oceanaire
You know the scene. Dad heads out with the ol’ fishing poll in hand and almost always returns with the bait still swinging on the hook. Politely take away his rod, and surprise the man with a trip the Oceanaire Seafood Room, where he won’t come up empty handed. Dad will wolf down a seafood dinner that’s as fresh as if he caught it himself.

The legendary Boston steakhouse has prepared a special prix fixe menu that’ll leave your pop satisfied. Guests will have the choice of three tasty appetizers, succulent steaks, and an ooey gooey dessert.

Father’s Day at 51 Lincoln
The chef puts a classy twist on a few manly favorites, including watermelon steak, Mom’s Friday night chicken, hearty potatoes, and roast salmon.
