Road trip it to Prov to see what the home of culinary school Johnson and Wales has to offer. The event, much like Boston’s RW, features two weeks of special prix fixe menus, including three-course lunches for $12.95 and three-course dinners for $29.95.

Summer Cooking Classes

Bullfinchs, 730 Boston Post Road, Route 20 West, Sudbury
Bullfinchs restaurant transforms one of its dining rooms into a chef’s kitchen studio, where up to 16 guests can watch and learn how to prepare a three-course, made-from-scratch meal, then savor the results. This week’s theme is “Robert’s Southern roots,” for which Chef Robert Harris shows you how to prepare foods his momma used to make.

UpStairs on the Square

Don’t knock rosé for trying. It’s a refreshing summer libation that’s just coming back into style. For this event, some fun and affordable rosés will be compared to very expensive versions from around the world. Chef Steven Brand will also provide some tasty small plates so you can see just how many different kinds of food to pair with the pink wine.
