They say laughter is the best medicine. We beg to differ. Grafton Street grants you a recession remedy that includes $4 veggie bloody marys and blood orange mimosas with the purchase of each weekend brunch entrée.

Appetite Stimulus Plan at 606 Congress
Sun.-Thurs., 5:30–10 p.m.; Fri.-Sat., 5:30–11 p.m.

Each night of the week, guests can order a three-course prix-fixe meal including an appetizer, special entrée, dessert, and paired glass of wine for only $25. Menu items include Harpoon Brown Ale braised short ribs with glazed pearl onions, green beans, and potato puree, fried chicken with buttermilk creamed spinach and yams, and slow-roasted leg of lamb with brussels sprouts, potatoes, and currants.

Dillon’s at Dusk
Sun.-Thurs., 4-7 p.m.

Dillon’s is offering a new affordable menu for cost-conscious foodies. Mini plates will be offered for $4-$7 from 4-7 p.m., Sunday through Thursday. Round up your coworkers for cheap drinks and eats.

Morton’s Absinthe Tasting

Morton’s The Steakhouse, 699 Boylston at Exeter

Experience the mystique of absinthe at Morton’s “Green Hour.” Learn about its rise, fall, and re-birth of in the cocktail scene as told by a Pernod Absinthe expert. Guests will sip drinks while enjoying oysters Rockefeller made with Absinthe, crab-stuffed mushrooms, sliced tenderloin crostini, and Morton’s mini prime cheeseburgers.
