Oh, the magic of Cinco de Mayo. Not nearly as rowdy as St. Patty’s Day in these parts but there’s always an air of devil-may-care when it falls on a weekday. Mostly because it’s an excuse to consume countless tacos and rivers of tequila. Writer Annie B. Copps gave you a roundup of Mexican food newcomers in our May issue, but let’s not kid ourselves: On a day like Cinco, we’re falling back on the tried and true. With that in mind, we humbly present our roundup of veteran Mexican stops that long ago won our hearts:
