Roxy's Gourmet Grilled Cheese Truck, Chez Henri to Serve a Three-Course Face Off Next Month
The team from Roxy’s Gourmet Grilled Cheese has been serving their signature cheese-on-toasty bread sandwiches from their bright yellow truck since early last spring. On Thursday, November 3rd, however, you can try the gang’s fare in a brick-and-mortar locale: Chez Henri. In honor of National Sandwich Day, Chez Henri will host Roxy’s for a $39, three-course menu face-off that pits fare like Roxy’s fried pickles against Chez Henri’s conch fritters, and diners will vote for the champion.
In addition to being an event where you can try both Roxy’s short rib, caramelized onion and Fontina grilled cheese and Chez Henri’s cult-fave pork Cuban, it’s also a good opportunity to get a feel for eating team Roxy’s fare within four walls—on a podcast with The Improper Bostonian last week, owner James DiSabatino mentioned that a brick-and-mortar version of the food truck is on its way.
