10/17-11/11: Celebrating Five Years at Bin 26 Enoteca on Beacon Hill

Starting today and continuing through November 11, Bin 26 Enoteca will celebrate its fifth anniversary by offering guests $5 tiny Mediterranean appetizers paired with your pick of wine. Among some of the small plates will include saffron risotto balls, bruschetta with charred scallion and hazelnut pesto, zucchini carpaccio, and meatballs in tomato sauce. The wine and beer menu will feature Ca’ Furlan Cuvee Beatrice Prosecco, Savignon Blanc, Tempranillo, Reading Premium Lager, and more. 10/24: Legal Seafoods Harborside Celebrates Food Day

On October 24, Legal Seafoods Harborside will host a lunch and dinner celebrating Food Day, which aims to promote affordable food produced in an eco-friendly way. Enjoy a three-course prix fixe menu including a fall green salad with pears and spiced walnuts for starters, as well as the main entrée of sautéed grey sole with slab bacon, braised collar greens, and fire-roasted squash — optionally paired with a bottle of Domaine Zind-Humbrecht Riesling. Be sure to leave room for the dessert — tarte tatin with apples and crème fraiche ice cream — or order, perhaps, order that first.
